Swan-song of the Super Scud

After a very hard fought and successful 2010 season, Scud and Steve have been forced to hang up their racing leathers due to financial reasons. After finishing a very creditable 3^rd, in the most competitive racing, in the sidecar world. The pair has run out of funds and the bike must now be sold.

The backroom team and all the mechanics that worked to make this a happy and flourishing team are dejected. Mark Woodfin (chief race engineer) said “Although we all understand that Allan and Steve must retire, the 2011 season promises to be thrilling. With enhanced TV coverage and the increased technical expertise, we could have beaten the world champions.”

Post season has seen some glimmer of hope, with Caroline Benzies coming on board in the role of sponsorship co-ordinator.
